We've rolled out a few updates to how credits and trial accounts work on firmafind. Here is a quick overview of what changed.

Non-Expiring Overage Packs

If you buy an overage credit pack, those credits are now yours until you actually use them.

• No expiry date: Overage credits never expire. They stay attached to your account indefinitely.
• Automatic credit waterfall: API requests use your included monthly plan or trial quota first. Once your monthly allowance runs out, requests draw from your overage balance.
• Independent of billing cycles: Monthly plan resets no longer touch or reset your purchased overage balance.

You can top up credits anytime from your API Key settings.

Free Trial Verification & Fair Use

Our 7-day trial gives developers full access to test integrations against the Austrian Firmenbuch.

To maintain service quality and platform stability for everyone using the API, we've updated trial activation requirements:

• Payment verification (€0 charged): Activating a trial now requires standard card verification. No money is charged when starting your trial.
• Fair use policy: Multi-account creation or attempting to bypass usage quotas violates our Terms of Service. Accounts found violating these policies will be permanently suspended.
